Kaiser Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal is a family owned business that was established in 1981 by Neil Kaiser. Neil came up through the ranks of the local sheet metal union where he learned and honed his incredible craftsmanship skills in the field of HVAC and sheet metal. He started his business with a truck, a few small machines and a small building to facilitate his dream of becoming a well respected HVAC business in the Ventury County. During the next 22 years he did just that by investing in his business through the training of his employees, purchasing more tools, machinery, and eventually a larger facility which was needed to facilitate his extensive sheet metal fabrication shop. At age 58, it was time for Neil to get out of the trade and retire to Oregon where he built his own house and enjoys the outdoors as well as other numerous hobbies. He worked very hard to build a business that was well respected and had a reputation of being fair and honest. As he was planning for retirement, he spent several years grooming his nephew, Cory Dishman, for the task of continuing the legacy of Kaiser Air Conditioning & Sheet Metal.

On November 1, 2002 Cory Dishman purchased the company, Cory has worked hard to maintain the high quality and reputable reputation that Kaiser is known for. Cory has been with the company since 1984 and uses his 27 years of experience to find solutions to even the most difficult HVAC and sheet metal projects. Now, with over 20 employees, 12 trucks, and a 5,000 square foot sheet metal shop, Kaiser Air Conditioning & Sheet Metal is poised and ready to meet the needs of the community and the county of Ventura no matter how small or how large they may be. The Four Steps:

1. Customer Satisfaction Rating

• You need to find out if a company has delivered very high customer satisfaction.
• San Francisco State University's Public Research Institute and University of Houston's Consumer Law Project perform on-going, random audits on customer satisfaction research surveying and audit ValueStar's research methodology so you can be assured of unbiased and accurate results.
• ValueStar randomly selects 400 past customer names and telephone numbers from each applicant company. To ensure a true rating, a company cannot pick and choose which customers are surveyed.
• Generally, 100 customers are asked to rate how satisfied they are with the value they received, and if they would use the company again. The customers' identities and responses are kept completely confidential.
• Based on the customers' answers, ValueStar calculates the company's customer satisfaction rating. Only if the company scores very good to outstanding does the company pass this vital step in the rating process. Thus, no company that scores below an eighty-five, out of a possible one hundred (a perfect score), is allowed to pass this rating step. The company's insurance agent must provide ValueStar with written certificates of insurance, showing that it has workers' compensation, liability, or any necessary specialized coverage.

2. Complaint Bureau Status Check

• A clean complaint record doesn't mean much, and numerous complaints suggest trouble.
• The company's complaint status is checked with appropriate agencies and complaint bureaus.

3. License Verification

• Selecting a company without the appropriate licenses may mean that the company cannot legally perform the service.

4. Insurance Verification

• The company must have valid licenses that are in good standing, for the major services it offers to the public.
